For change to become reality it has to first exist as a possibility in the universal field that I call the Wild Heart. This is the vital missing part of activism.
We are steeped in the idea that activism has to be angry, it has to attack what it doesn't like, it has to lobby tirelessly for change, it has to protest and fight. It's understandable that the emotions of anger, sadness, grief that we experience at the knowing the pain of our animal kin, need an outlet, and we pour them into monumental efforts to effect change. Our motivation is to make the pain stop, for them, and for us. We've been in this struggle for so long, and there are some 'wins' and a great deal of good work is done, some suffering is relieved, but there is also still so much that it can feel like a futile effort.
I'm inviting you into a different way of being with this pain, with these emotions and your deep desire to protect, care for and respect our animal kin. I intentionally refer to them as kin, because they are our brothers and sisters, our family and we are all one in the embrace of the Wild Heart. This is not just a romantic notion, all of everything that is manifest, first exists as a 'field' - you can call this an energy field, quantum field, or simply as an 'information' field. And this doesn't just relate to physical things, we create our world through the thought field. Culture, zeitgeist, paradigms come about through the spread, adoption and reinforcement of a thought field. Take the 'theory' of evolution and 'survival of the fittest' for example. This originated as an idea in a human mind, which today is presumed to be an indisputable truth, and permeates every aspect of how we perceive ourselves, our animal kin, our organisations, our societies and our culture, our choices, actions and behaviours, mostly at an unconscious level.
So, Wild Heart Activism is intentionally creating a thought field for the relationship, the interbeingness we dream of between humanimals and our animal kin. We start here, with the relationship because this is the root cause of all their suffering and a great deal of ours. It is the seed of the Sentience Revolution, where we relinquish our monopoly on the meaning and attribution of sentience, and we open to their notion and experience of it.
It requires you to bridge your world and theirs, this is their calling to you.
To advocate for them you need to relinquish the 'idea' that they don't have a voice. This well intentioned notion, is a thought field that is being endorsed and embedded and is becoming part of the problematic paradigm we are in - yet it is total nonsense to the animals they are advocating for. Of course they have a voice, they don't just vocalise, and speak and communicate and dialogue, they have deeply complex and sophisticated ways of doing so, totally unaided by technology. And they are 'speaking' to us all the time, the issue is, most people are unable to hear it.
The bridge to their world is a new interspecies understanding which starts with the Being Animal Learning Experience.
Core to the mission of Sentience Revolution is interspecies understanding. The starting point for that is a foundational knowledge of what it is to ‘be animal’. This is offered by way of the ‘Being Animal Learning Experience’ which I ask anyone who wants to join The Gathering, to complete.
Once you’ve done that, you’ll have full access to the Community and The Gathering, the home of our Wild Heart Activism!

We intend to build a new body of knowledge and knowing that comes about through doing our work, whatever that is, as scientist, researchers, veterinarians, practitioners, from the 'being animal' perspective. This requires a transformative shift from the rational to the trans-rational.
The aim of this work is to usher in a new paradigm and from this effect a radical cultural shift to a heart centered, integrated interbeing between humanimals and their animal kin.
